Impala’s client was building a new house on Sydney’s North Shore. The house was contemporary and was to have the newest fittings. Although a neutral colour scheme was requested for the kitchen, some warmth and interest was also in the brief. To this end, Impala designed a streamlined kitchen with no handles and concealed appliances. The base colour is white, however the stone bench top is a taupe/grey colour. The ends of the island unit are thick to balance the length of the island and are in a light satin polished timber veneer. The result is a gorgeous kitchen that will stand the test of time.
