A heritage home needed a modern update that would make the most of a challenging footprint.
The client wanted:
Light neutral colours were chosen to make the interior as light as possible. Narrow shaker doors in off white with a light coloured engineered stone sit gently against the natural timber floor. The stone continues up the splashback as a feature and for easy upkeep.
The gold underslung sink is stationed on the island bench leaving the serving bench clear to the outdoor entertaining area accessed by servery windows. The gold ties in with the gold shadowline that accentuates the curved island.
Glass display doors showcase glassware with the ribbed detail echoing the island bench.
The kitchen flows into the laundry which functions as an appliance pantry to keep the kitchen clutter free. The same finishes were used for continuity.
The separate bar zone is a great place to unwind for drinks with friends or a quiet place to read a book and enjoy the outlook.
