Our client was renovating an older semi-terraced house in Sydney’s inner west. The client wanted to renew the old fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen and allow for greater storage, which is often not incorporated in older style dwellings. The colour scheme was to be neutral and classic to stand the test of time. To this end, high gloss finishes were used in the kitchen and bathroom and colour imparted through the client’s own decor. Renovation works were to be of the highest quality with attention to detail in workmanship. High quality porcelain tiles were selected for the floor and walls. Bullnose tiles were used for the recessed niches and skirting tile in the laundry to give an opulent finish. The shower is sunken into the bathroom floor and doubles as a bath area. The shower taps are mounted on a wall of toughened glass, requested by the client for ease of cleaning and to add variety in the bathroom texture.
