Impala’s client owned an older style house on the northern beaches which was used as a holiday home and a weekender. She wanted to renovate a large ensuite bathroom and two smaller powder rooms. Impala was engaged to design the bathrooms, build the joinery and manage the renovation works.
The brief included :
Interesting colours, not just all white
Choice of materials was important as being a holiday house, ease of cleaning was a priority
Plenty of storage was requested to accommodate the family and frequent guests
A bath tub was to be built into a hob in the main bathroom
Frameless showerscreens and concealed cistern toilets
