Impala’s client was looking to put a kitchenette in the downstairs rumpus room. Important aspects in the brief were to incorporate wine storage, a bar fridge, small cooktop, sink, coffee machine, seating and a microwave. The kitchenette was to service guests downstairs for breakfast and the house occupants for snacks and coffee.
Impala designed a kitchenette with ample wine racks, an ergonomically positioned coffee machine and integrated fridge. Seating is provided under the cantilevered bench top. Warm timber veneer was chosen to be teamed with stark white polyurethane doors and stone bench top.
The result is a practical built in kitchenette for servicing guest and house occupants alike.
