Impala’s client was renovating a semi-terraced house including replacing the two older bathrooms with new fittings, tiles and cabinets. Our client had engaged a builder to do building works as part of her overall project and to also manage the bathroom renovations. Impala was asked to design and build the bathroom cabinets, kitchen, study area and various wardrobes.
Impala designed high gloss polyurethane bathroom vanities and shaving cabinets to match. A 20mm stone top was installed and semi-recessed basins recommended in both bathrooms to minimised the floor space taken by the vanities. The bath surround in the main bathroom was made from stone to match the adjacent vanity top and fabricated by Impala. The bath tub was under-slung to allow for a neat clean look and for ease of cleaning. A bi-folding shower screen sits atop the bath surround which prevents water splashing when showering, but also can be folded out of the way to reach taps and when washing small children in the bath.
