Modern Hamptons Bathroom – Finalist KBDi Mastersuite 2019

A luxury home built in the 1980s needed a facelift to transform the dated fittings to suit it’s
grand scale.

The existing bathroom:

• Was uninspiring with no storage.
• Outdated corner spa and unattractive vanities.
• Dated fittings and fixtures.

The client wanted:

• A Hampton’s style aesthetic to bring the right blend of tradition to suit a modern
  lifestyle and create a character filled home.
• Luxurious but welcoming appeal.
• Easy to keep clean and tidy.
• Beautiful and functional

Design Statement

The bathroom was updated with stunning marble floor tiles, luxurious fittings and an indigo
vanity to add some pizazz

The indigo vanity adds drama to a timeless classic bathroom and exudes a refreshing
Hampton’s style that compliments the wider aesthetic of the renovated home.

Bespoke joinery, including corner panelling posts and a custom-made traditional style
vanity, command attention and are in keeping with the Hampton’s style.

Proud detailed kicks maintain the traditional look and a shaker door was chosen as the
appropriate architectural style.

Kick lighting adds drama.

Polished nickel taps, lighting and handles complete the traditional Hampton’s styling of a
very relaxed but luxurious family home.

This beautiful bathroom is part of a grand master suite which was recognised by the KBDi
Design Awards, “Finalist Master Suite 2019”.
