Impala’s clients were an older couple looking to renovate their main bathroom for ease of use later in life. The previous bathroom had a large hob around the shower and required stepping in and out which meant a slipping hazard when wet. Our clients also requested more storage. The style of renovation was to be in keeping with the homes’ current decor, which meant heritage style tiling with a feature floor boarder, capping and tile listello.
The client requested Impala to design the bathroom, build the joinery and do the associated trade work.
Impala recommended a frameless showerscreen, eliminating the need for a hob and meeting the brief for safety. The showerscreen was cut around the bath hob, eliminating any gaps between shower and bath and making cleaning easier. A white polyurethane vanity with knobs and matching shaving cabinet above provided much needed storage.Checkered marble floor tiling with wall and floor boarders complete the style.
