Many variables, such as the size of your kitchen, design, materials and so forth will affect the price of your project however, as a guide, our kitchen renovations start at around $25,000 for all joinery, benchtops, splashbacks and trade work for a small space. Obviously the bigger the area, a highly detailed kitchen design, more trade work required and type of materials used will all add to the cost. At the high end, some kitchen designs can cost as much as $60,000 and more.
An average bathroom design will start at $25,000. This includes a bathroom design service, a frameless showerscreen, custom joinery for cabinets (vanity and shaving) and all associated trade work, performed by individual tradespeople who are licensed in their area. Obviously size, scope of trade work and materials selected for your bathroom design will alter pricing.
We do not supply appliances for kitchen and bathroom designs. We can recommend appliances, however, feel free to purchase appliances from your choice of retailer. By doing this, we are able concentrate on what we are good at – kitchen design, building of joinery and installation.
We do supply showerscreens, vanities and shaving cabinets, plus electrical items such as lights, underfloor heating and fans for your bathroom design. We do not supply tiles, taps, toilets, bathtubs and so forth for the bathrooms we design.
We can recommend these items however, you are free to source your own bathroom supplies. There is an extensive selection of items and it is best to shop around and not buy from selected packages – this will assist in obtaining an end result which works best for you. This way we concentrate on what we are best at – designing, building joinery for and renovating bathrooms.
It depends on the scope of your project. In most instances we can get your new kitchen design up and running in 2 weeks from when site works have commenced. Finishing touches will take another 1-2 weeks thereafter.
Our average bathroom design will take around 4 weeks to complete with finishing touches taking another 1-2 weeks. We use different tradespeople for each step and this takes time. Each is qualified in their specific area. Bathrooms we design require “wet tradework” and there is often drying timing needed. Our vanity and shaving cabinets are made to order for each bathroom design project.
Yes, Impala Kitchens & Bathrooms can make any joinery you require. We have our own factory and qualified designers to assist with this. Consult our gallery to see examples of what we have done.
