“This home is on the outskirts of Sydney and looks over large paddocks and beautiful bushland. The surroundings were a big influence on the colour scheme we chose for the benchtop and feature wall. The home owners also wanted to look out on their property while cooking, which is why we have placed a long window behind the cooktop instead of a splashback. Space was not a limiting factor when we were putting together this kitchen so we had the ability to make a large open kitchen and still have enough room for a big walk-in pantry. This kitchen is ideal for entertaining because the pantry is big enough to do all of the prep work and keep the mess hidden, while the island can be used exclusively for food presentation.

The homeowners didn’t want overhead cabinetry, which is not an issue due to plenty of drawers and an entire walk-in pantry to use for storage.”
