We all know that it’s much easier to cook with clean surfaces, so making sure that you clean up after yourself will enhance your enjoyment of being in the kitchen. Having a clean workspace will also ensure that hygiene is kept at safe levels for your family and guests.
Impala Kitchens & Bathrooms send out care instructions to each client on their kitchen completion, however as a guideline we recommend the following for some of the more common materials used in kitchen construction.
Manufactured stone
Wipe with soapy warm water and a soft cloth. Gentle spray cleaners are also suitable.
Granite or Marble
Depending on the porosity of the stone, regular sealant may need to be applied, refer to the stone mason’s recommendations regarding product and frequency of application. Once sealed, wipe with warm water.
Polyurethane and Lamiwood Doors
Warm soapy water or a gentle spray cleaner is suitable. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Inside Cabinets
Wipe with a damp cloth; spray cleaners are suitable.
If unsure of what to clean your kitchen fixtures or appliances with, consult your kitchen company and manufacturer’s instructions you received during your kitchen renovation or remodeling project.
