International influences

“This design had to blend with the home’s many artworks collected from international travels. We created a simple, elegant finish such as plain-faced doors in Vanilla Cream gloss to work with the large variety of furnishings and paintings. The owner also requested lots of storage, an open-plan design and easy accessibility of all cabinets in the kitchen area. We fitted drawers where possible — 16 in total — for easy access. In addition, there are no blind corners, and a large preparation and servery area. Being handle-free, the space offers a streamlined look. The new kitchen now seamlessly flows into the living area, which in turn flows out to the beautiful water views. The use of downlights on end panels softens the kitchen and creates an interesting detail.”
