In three words, this kitchen is modern, sleek and practical. Designed with small children in mind and catering for alfresco dining, the kitchen was styled to incorporate the terrace of the home as well as utilise space as practically as possible. Wide, deep drawers along the pantry wall maintain the sleek design of the kitchen while providing ample storage. A white-based colour scheme for the doors and benchtop accentuates the modern design of the kitchen and emphasises the split-level island bar without creating an obvious difference. Appliances are concealed in the working pantry in an internal storage hub to maintain the theme of sleek design and concealed spaces. Lighting is used to draw the eye up from the floor-to-ceiling cupboards and the use of pendant lights in the island bar visually expands the space.

We love the use of pear-shaped pendant lights to complement the angular lines of the kitchen’s design.
