Sydney’sPaul Johns(www.impalakitchens.com.au)had much to celebrate at the Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute’s annual Awards Gala in Melbourne on Saturday night (17 September).

The designer presented a stand-outkitchen design that secured him the category award of Designer – SmallKitchens NSW. The judges were most impressed with Paul’s presentation: they said New York Marble was the hero of the design, and its dynamic use in a stand-out island feature certainly made a bold statement! They admired the balanced mix of finishes, and were impressed with the designer’s response to a challenging design brief.

About Paul

Paul has been designing things his whole working life. His passion for design started in Interior and Graphic Design. In the last 7 years, Paul has moved into kitchen and bathroom designing. Paul is interested in kitchen designs especially creating a spaces for open plan entertaining as well as considering the kitchen’s functionality and ergonomics. He loves practical design and using bold materials which make a statement. Paul is an asset to the Impala design team and we are proud to have him.
